I. Oh, double crap.

I left my P&P soundtrack on repeat again. Fish sticks.

Oh well.

II. If I didn't show you, I took this kick butt picture of a horse butt the other day and now it's my background.
Oy, I should enlighten you on my horseback riding lesson!
So yeah I got there and I found this new girl (*gasp*) riding Mr. Kuhlly Pants and so Crystal enlightened me with the fact that no, I would not be riding Mr. Kuhl and would instead be riding the beginner's horse that the little kiddies ride who don't know how to ride. I took this as a bad sign. But, then, she said that we were going to do bareback work on Mr. Go x2 (Go-go, get it? haha.. :P i'm done joking) and that if I were to do it on Kuhl then I'd suffer MAJOR private-part pain to the max. So, I obviously obliged and jumped on the chance of bareback-ing Go-go 'cause bareback is majorly fun, despite me having humongo-jumbo sores quand je suis allé aux toilettes. But, Go-go is a bit big in the stomach area so no pain for me! Yay!

Wow, that was long and I haven't even gotten that far. So, yes, I found the bareback pad and the bareback girth and tried (and was not successful) to buckle it on Go-go because of his rather large tum-tum so Ms. Crystal helped me to buckle it on (thank the Lord). He thew a hissy fit but it was ok, no biting (almost-successful attempts mind you but I was lucky! ha!) And then I hopped on. Which was rather hard to do considering there weren't any stirrups.

Bareback: riding with or without a saddle pad, no stirrups, etc. Quite comfy.

Now originally I thought I would just slide off because when I rode bareback like two years ago it was not very comfy at all and I was barely on the horse, let alone riding it. But YAY! Lauren's balance has improved and now she can successfully walk, trot, AND canter/gallop (when Go-go gets goin', he get's goin--not bad for a 20-somethin year old horse) bareback! And I don't really have like absorbing-the-motion problems anymore so that's swell. Go-go's not a very complicated horse either.

So, did some trot work and canter work on the left lead (he wasn't very good picking up that lead.. but I suppose it was my fault as I couldn't really bend him to the left). But he did go on the bit so that was cool. And we did some leg yields. That was fun too. He's WAY easier to ride than Kuhl; but I do like Kuhl's gaits a bit better because as he's like 15 years younger his gaits feel 15 years younger too.

Err. Yeah. I'm done with that.

III. My P&P songbook hasn't come yet :(. It's been in frickin' Richmond for 3 days!

IV. On a lighter note, 3 (ALMOST 2) DAYS UNTIL 6 MONTHS! And I love this super-duper awesome kid named Ryan :)

V. Homework sucks.

VI. Trevor is the most immature, brattiest kid on the face of the entire planet and sometimes I would just like to SMACK HIM upside the head. But I have to admit it was pretty funny when I called his house and his brother picked up and went into the bathroom with the phone on speaker while Trevor was taking a shower. Hehe.

VII. lame.
