calm surrender to the rush of day

SO, today. Today's been pretty boring actually and dead hot.

Let's see, I woke up at like 10:00 AM and my window was open and the 90 degree heat was comin' in like a gust of wind blowing into Oklahoma. Then I called Sammy because I had a missed call and she drove me to church. Church was pretty funny and pretty cool :D and then my mother took us to the Yogurt Shack, which I got a chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles (too much if you ask me) and some really nasty cookie dough. Then we dropped Sammy off and I returned home.

Uh, so I talked a bit with Sammy and Bryce then started arguing with Trevor AGAIN over e-mail. Then we four way called everybody (Trevor, Sammy, and Bryce) and talked for like an hour and 15 minutes. RIGHT after Sammy said she had to go, Trevor goes, "I think I'll go too now," and I was like, seriously, just because Sammy left DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO LEAVE AUTOMATICALLY AFTER! But of course Trevor was in denial so whatever.

Then I took a nap and read a bit and I just finished making blueberry muffins!! And I'm kind of worried because the batter turned out kind of odd but it smells good so I guess that's a good sign? :D

You know I'm truly convinced that everybody is very, immensely spoiled and it's beginning to kind of disgust me. It's always, "more more more," or something like that and there are SO MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE who live in poverty. I mean, I know what it's like, you know that they're out there but you really don't know don't know until you SEE it with your own eyes. We are so friggin lucky. Embrace it and remember it and don't take anything for granted.
